Marana Park Thoroughbreds
Gr3 winner Autumn Jeuney's daughter is by Arc champion Dalakhani

Situated in the heart of the prestigious Limestone Coast breeding region in South Australia, Marana Park Thoroughbreds prides itself on producing five-star boutique drafts. And at the 2018 Adelaide Magic Millions the trend is certain to continue with 3 fantastic colts and 2 lovely fillies for sale.

The draft starts particularly strongly with a grey filly by Arc winner Dalakhani from dual Gr3-winning Jeune mare Autumn Jeuney (Lot 283). Autumn Jeuney was seriously good miler able to take third at Gr2 level as well as winning both the Gr3 RA Lee Stakes and Tesio Stakes. With 2 to race for the perfect win record, this filly is sure to be heavily inspected.

Lot 344 is next up. He’s a colt by Gr1 Champagne Stakes-winning sire Skilled from Green Desert mare Henry’s Choice. The dam has already produced a winner in Wright Choice and traces importantly to Champion Older Male Sprinter in GB Kyllachy. It’s a winning family that has the capacity to produce one out of the box.

Stay put because Lot 345 is by Good Journey from four-time winner producer High Butterfly. A Gr1 winner at Woodbine in the US, Good Journey has been terrific at stud with in excess of 290 winners. His high point was definitely Gr1 Emirates Stakes winner Happy Trails but he’s also produced very classy gallopers like Griante, Grand Journey, Sound Journey and Lord Aspen. This filly has a strong page that traces to third dam Native Thriller and Gr1 Adelaide Cup winning colt Apache King and Gr2 Light Fingers winning mare Flight To Fantasy. Residual value is also appealing with this filly.

Grab a quick coffee and be back for Lot 362, the colt by Bianconi from Marana Magic. Like Good Journey, Bianconi has been terrifically consistent at stud. With 595 winners – and growing – he continues to produce quality metro and stakes performers and is now starting to influence pedigrees as a burgeoning broodmare sire. This colt is aiming to be the third winner from 3 foals to race by the mare. The second dam stands out here. She’s High Royale, a Listed winner and producer of 8 to run for 8 winners.

The draft concludes on a high with Lot 430, the colt by Gr1-winning sire Host from 7-time winner Bojani. This is her first foal and much is expected of her as a broodmare. She shares the same distaff line as Lot 345.
