Its 2018 Inglis Easter Draft is set to light up the new Riverside Stables Complex with a Snitzel colt and 4 highly commercial fillies with serious residual upside to be offered across the three days.

Lot 46 starts the fireworks. He's the colt by Gr1 winner and reigning Champion Australian Sire Snitzel from Gr1-winning US mare Black Mamba. This is a very diverse family that boasts black-type winners from 1000m to 2400m and includes Gr1 AJC Derby winner Roman Emperor, Gr1 NZ Oaks placed Sneetch and more precocious conveyances like Gr2 Taranaki 2YO Classic winner Fleur De Chine. It also includes Fleur De Chine's Gr1 SAJC Australasian Oaks-winning filly Tully Thunder and Gr1 Hong Kong Mile winner Glorious Days.

The first of four fillies in the Evergreen draft is Lot 110, by 2015/16's Leading Australian Sire of 3YOs Not A Single Doubt from winning Elusive Quality mare Emancipationist. This cross has already produced $1 million plus HK earner Charity Joy and gets seriously exciting at the 3rd dam. Piccadilly Circus. Dam of Champion Australian Sire Fastnet Rock. Beyond the obvious racetrack appeal the word Residual is in bold caps for this filly.

On the theme of residual value, Lots 298 and 424 are both by three-time Australian Champion Sire Redoute's Choice from the same blue-blooded distaff family. Lot 298 is from Champion 3YO NZ Filly (2006-07), Champion NZ Older Female & Stayer (2007-08) and 4-time Gr1 winner Princess Coup (by Encosta de Lago). And she's already proven a veritable success as a broodmare having produced 2014/15"s Champion Kong Kong Griffin (2YO) in Thewizardofoz (also by Redoute's Choice). Plus, Princess Coup is a three-quarter-sister to Gr2 Bill Stutt Stakes winner Sovereign Nation. And the Redoute's Choice x Encosta de Lago cross? Gold dust! 41 runners for 29 winners including 2 Gr1 winners, 5 Group winners and 8 SW (19% SW/R) for nearly $8 million in prizemoney.

Meanwhile, Lot 424 is from a twice-winning daughter of Princess Coup in Lonhro mare Vanilla Princess. This her first foal and is sure to have countless inspections. Redoute's Choice also nicks particularly well with this damsire line. When crossed with Octagonal mares he's tracking at a lofty 20% SW/R with Gr1 Golden Rose runner-up Albrecht the standout performer.

And just when you thought this draft couldn't get any better, Lot 510 will strut into the ring. She's by the Leading Australian 2YO Sire of 2014/15 in Written Tycoon – of course sire of 2018 Blue Diamond winner Written By – from Fastnet Rock mare Annonay. A four-time winner and a natural athlete, Annonay is from the family of the flying Gr1 Oakleigh Plate winner Dantelah. The most salient point to make in regards to this mating is that second dam Prospering is by Fusaichi Pegasus, the nick that produced Gr1 Golden Slipper winner Capitalist.
