Kensington Produce
Kensington Produce was established in 1955

Kensington Produce Pty Ltd was founded in Kensington in 1955 by former jockey and trainer Rex Hambly and his wife Roma.

Their passion and dedication for their local racing community drove them to build a produce store where they could offer superior quality horse feed with reliable service. This passion and dedication is carried on today by Stephen and Michael Hambly, son and grandson of Rex and Roma in a thriving racing industry.

This business now services the leading racing yards at all three Sydney metropolitan tracks (Royal Randwick, Rosehill Gardens, and Warwick Farm) as well as a continued relationship with William Inglis & Son, making sure tried stock, broodmares and yearlings bred by the smallest properties to the largest studs are also provided with the best.

Our clients include William Inglis & Son, Chris Waller Racing, Joe Pride Racing, Snowden Racing, Gai Waterhouse & Adrian Bott Racing, John Thompson Racing, G Ryan, Ron Quinton Racing, Anthony Cummings, John O’Shea, and The Australian Turf Club itself to name but a few. Kensington Produce has literally fed more Racing Premierships and Group 1 Winners than any of our competitors.

Helping do this is the open dialogue Stephen and Michael maintain with top trainers, farmers, nutritionists, feed companies, and laboratories enabling them to source what our customers want, the highest quality feeds, hays, and grains on the East Coast.

We stock the best from trusted names such as Mitavite, Ranvet, Hygain, Pryde’s, HorsePower, Virbac, Ridley/Barostoc, Coprice, and International Animal Health. Most recently we have installed a state of the art grain mill, buying bulk, milling superior grains in house, monitoring quality, packaging on site, and maintaining competitive prices.

By listening to our customers, and having a passion for what we do, we continue to offer them both the superior quality and service Kensington Produce is known for.
