An evolving, boutique, thoroughbred operation in the prime locale of Scone, Jackmart Park presents an exciting draft of colts at this year’s Adelaide Magic Millions. They enter the sale early and strongly with Lot 7. By Harbour Watch, currently the 8th leading first season sire, from the Gr3 winning Danehill mare, Afraah, this colt is a half to two winners, including the progressive Darren Weir-prepared Haafra Head.

Lot 14 is the next offering, and one of three yearlings by the exciting Albrecht in the Jackmart Park draft. Regally bred, Albrecht is a stakes winning son of Redoute’s Choice from the blue hen O’Giselle, the full sister to outstanding sire Lonhro. From Testa Rossa mare Amelia Dollars, this colt is a three-quarter brother to Peter Morgan’s promising French Banque, already twice placed and a descendant of the mighty Christmas Tree, Euphoria line.

Lot 31 is next. By highly consistent stallion Casino Prince, he’s from the winning Perugino mare Bolognaise, from Eureka Parade, an unraced sister to dual stakes producing broodmare Eureka Jewel.

Lot 79 is packed with precocious potential. By Exceed and Excel’s sire-son Excelebration, this colt is the first foal of Elusive Quality mare and winner Elusive Blues. Most significant here from a potential speed perspective is the presence of VATC Blue Diamond runner-up Danari as third dam. Of course it’s already well known how well Exceed and Excel crosses with Elusive Quality.

Jackmart Park’s penultimate offering is lot 220. Another son of Albrecht, he’s the grandson of 1999-2000’s Top Australasian 2YO Filly Pharein. Dam Phar Too Fast has already produced 6 time Philippines winner Security Choice. The final lot in this interesting draft is Lot 226. Also by Albrecht, he’s from the winning Choisir mare Princess Sharon. This is a regal family with third dam Reganza producing Champion filly and VRC Oaks winner Kensington Palace.
