Rosden Park Stud
Exciting freshman sire Declaration of War is sire of Lot 196

Rosden Park have twelve yearlings on offer at the 2017 MM Adelaide Yearling Sale. Lot 44 is a pedigree highlight being by rising young sire and international galloper So You Think. This filly is a half sister to Champion 2YO in Singapore Rising Empire and stakes placed Ladysea; and is from the family of Gr1 winner Rose of Dane. A half brother to Champion 3YO Filly in Australia Heavenly Glow, and out of stakes winner Starsphere, is Lot 287. This colt is by Excelebration whose oldest crop are 2YOs.

Lot 303 is a well related filly, being a daughter of High Chaparral from stakes winner Tequila Knowledge; who has left five winners on the track. This is the family of recent international stakes-winners Sea of Grace and Veronese. Another filly with residual value is Lot 116, by Choisir out of Gr1 winner Imperial Beauty. Her dam has left group placed Ipswich, two recent winners in Loyalty Man and Handsome Henry, and the dam of stakes winner Purely Atomic.

Time Thief has two stakes winners from limited numbers, and his filly, Lot 333, is a daughter of stakes placed Xaieta from the family of Count Scenario. Another sire on the rise is Uncle Mo, and his filly, Lot 314, is from the family of Dubai Carnival Gr1 winner Amber Sky. Another proven sire, Danerich, has Lot 134, a colt from a young winning mare from the family of She Flys; while Good Journey has Lot 413, a colt from winning mare Miss Remarkable. Star Witness’s daughter Global Glamour keeps showing improvement, and he is represented by a colt, Lot 114, from a young winning Blevic mare. Hussonet is a Champion Sire starting to make his mark as a broodmare sire, and his filly, Lot 439 is out of a three race-winning mare whose first foal is already a winner.

Proven Gr1 sire Dalakhani’s oldest crop are 2YOs in Australia, and his colt, Lot 125, is out of a young More than Ready mare whose first foal won just recently. This is the Smart family that has produced a long list of Gr1 winners in the Northern Hemisphere.

The only yearling in the Rosden draft by a first season sire has much to recommend him. By Declaration of War, this colt, Lot 196, is a half brother to tough group placed, eight race winner Saddler’s Story. He is from a strong international family that includes Caulfield Cup winner Tawqeet.
